The Texas Health Services Authority (THSA), a public-private partnership established by the Texas Legislature for the purpose of promoting, implementing and facilitating the secure electronic exchange of health information, announces the appointment of new members to the THSA Collaboration Council. The purpose of the Collaboration Council is to advise the THSA and its Board of Directors and develop consensus among key stakeholders on the planning and implementation of statewide health information exchange (HIE). The first meeting will occur in February.
