Gov. Perry Names Marx Chair of THSA Corporation

AUSTIN - Gov. Rick Perry has named
Edward Marx of Colleyville chair of the Texas Health Services
Authority Corporation for a term to expire at the pleasure of the
governor, and appointed eight members to the authority for terms to
expire June 15, 2011. The authority is a public-private corporation
chartered by the Legislature to improve patient safety and quality
of care by coordinating the development of a voluntary and secure
electronic health information infrastructure for the state health
care system.
